Who is MVA?

Missionary Ventures is an interdenominational Christian organization and is part of Missionary Ventures International.

Our mission is…

MVA partners with Australian churches to send out short term mission teams into the Asia Pacific region to empower, equip, resource and encourage national churches to impact the nations with the message of Christ.

MVA is field driven. Our teams and resources are channeled for the development of churches and communities bringing the love and message of Christ to a lost and hurting world.

MVA is governed by an Australian Board and is accountable through donor receipts, monthly reports and newsletters. We encourage participation on short term mission teams so you can become personally involved in missions.

Your personal involvement is our best accountability.

Our Purpose is..

• To partner with the national churches in the Asia Pacific region providing teaching, training, resources and encouragement.
• To see people released in their gifts and callings and to equip them to do this.
• To enable the church and individuals to be more effective in reaching out with the life and love of Jesus to the nations of their calling.
• To meet the needs of the whole person physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Our objectives are..

• To build strategic partnerships with Australian Christian churches, individuals and organizations.
• To link Australian churches and individuals with the field strategically. Matching strengths with needs.
• To train and equip churches and individuals for their specific roles and tasks in the field (field driven)
• To raise awareness of field needs and opportunities for personal involvement.
• To raise finances and resources for specific projects.
• To channel resources to the field through MVA's Field Coordinators, Field Associates and Field Administrators.
• To build strategic alliances with national churches, individuals and Christian Organizations in the Asia Pacific region.
• To liaise with our field staff finding out the needs of these national churches and organizations eg. types of teams to be sent out, resources needed, finances, prayer & community projects etc.
